Frequently Asked Questions
If I come to Greg's gym do I have to pay a gym fee in addition to the trainer's fee?
No. If you work with me the only fee you pay is the fee for my time. There’s no any additional fees related to the gym. You can use the gym every time you have an appointment with me. You can also use the cardio equipment 15 minutes prior and after your workout as long as I remain in the gym.
Where is Greg's Gym Located?
Gregory’s Corner Boxing Fitness Studio 6689 Village Pkwy Dublin, OH 43017.
I currently belong to a gym. Can Greg come to my gym to train me?
I cannot train any clients in their gym due to liability issues and conflict of interest. Most gyms do not allow outside trainers on their floors. You can ask your gym owners if they allow private personal training in their facility and if so, how much they would charge you for the trainer to come and work with you. However, I would prefer working with you at my gym (it will be much more affordable for you that way) or at your home. See the
in-home training services.
I want to workout at home, but I don't have any equipment. Will I be able to accomplish anything?
Yes. Of course, it is always better to have access to quality cardio and resistance equipment. However, it depends upon your condition and goals. A lot can be done with no equipment. Your best option is to become a member of Greg’s
ONLINE PERSONAL TRAINER website where you can train with him via live broadcast either as a part of the group or if you wish you could become a private client as well. You must remember that the most important ingredient needed to change your body is desire, motivation, hard work and commitment. If you have these, the rest will fall into place.
What happens if I am not satisfied with the trainer/training?
My policy is very simple. If you don’t like it don’t waste your time and money. Just tell me openly that you do not wish to continue and I will refund your fee for unused portion of the training agreement. It’s 100% guarantee. You have nothing to lose.
How do I get started?

Once I begin, am I obligated to continue?
No, you are never under any obligation to continue unless you have actually scheduled a session or sessions. In that case, you must adhere to the cancellation policy guidelines addressed
here.
Do you accept credit cards?
Yes. Any type of payment you feel comfortable with will be accepted.
What happens if I am late for a session?
According to my company’s policies I am not obligated to make up time due to a client’s lateness. More than 15 min lateness constitutes a late cancellation and I am not obligated to conduct the session. In some cases I may wait and work with you for the remaining time. In either case you will be charged fully for the session.
How many days a week do I need to work out?
This question can only be answered effectively after you have talked with me. It depends upon your current conditions, goals, schedule and my availability. You may “need” to work out four days a week, but only have the time for two days a week. In these cases I will work to teach you a program that you can do on your own for the days that you cannot work with me at the gym. This, of course, necessitates your willingness and ability to implement such a program.
I have done everything, but I still can't lose weight. Is there anything you can do for me?
Losing body fat effectively is the result of a combination of a specific diet and calorie burning aerobic exercise carried out consistently for a particular duration of time. I usually find that when you think you are doing “everything,” one or more elements specified above is either not being carried out correctly or is not being carried out at all. Sometimes people will try a variety of fad diets one after the other for short periods of time and then give up. Or they may get on the treadmill at the gym for 15 minutes two times a week and wonder why they can’t lose fat. Body fat reduction or “getting lean” is the single most requested goal of clients who come to me. I will work with you on an effective diet and fat-burning exercise program and will discuss how long you need to sustain this program to achieve results. I will then help you to attain the discipline and motivation to carry it out. One thing is for sure⦠I need your full cooperation. If you are not doing what you say you are then the only person that will be disappointed at the end will be YOU.
If you are not losing the weight, you simply are not following what I had planned for you. So suck it up and get a grip because I know you can do it.
I do hundreds of sit-ups but still have no definition in my abs. How do I get a six-pack?
Are we talking about the six-pack that comes without bottle opener?
Okay.
Getting abdominal definition is only partially accomplished through specific abs workouts involving crunches or flexion of the abdominal muscles. For the most part “definition” of abs is accomplished the same way that “definition” of any other body part:
By losing the fat that obscures the muscle and building the muscle that will help to speed up your metabolism.
Losing the fat is done through diet and aerobic exercise, not abdominal crunches (or sit ups). But even if you lose the fat, to see a nicely developed six-pack, the abs muscles need to be developed.
Can I bring a friend to work out with me?
Of course you can. I always encourage my clients to bring their friends, family members, or co-workers for “try it out” session. There is no charge for that. I always believe that you should try something before you buy it. The best thing is that if your friend signs up for a training program for himself/herself you will get one month of training free just for referring your friend.
